Relationship between Ai-Wall and Igusa Straw
Ai-Wall is made with 100% Yashiro, Kumamoto's Igusa Straw, cultivated with the barest minimum of chemicals. Igusa has an air purification effect, is anti mold, anti-bacterial, controls humidification, and its faint fragrance has a spiritual healing effect.

Judicial Foundation - Construction Material Testing Center: Testing results
Absorption & release mass measurement testing has been done on Ai-Wall and vinyl wallpapers at the Construction Material Test Center. The contrasting data between Ai-Wall and vinyl wallpapers indicates that Ai-Wall has four times more absorption & release quality characteristics than vinyl wallpapers.
Patent Application Pending
Ai-Wall was first produced in 2002, and its patent application has been submitted. We continue to research and develop new products.
Acquisition of fireproof recognition certificate (QM-9253/NW9791)
Ai-Wall has obtained fireproof recognition certificate (QM-9253/NW9791) which permits application on quasi-incombustible surface. Ai-Wall is not just for residential homes, and would also be an excellent alternative for public and commercial facilities.
Acquisition of F☆☆☆☆(F four star) as formaldehyde countermeasure product
When the Construction Standards Regulation was amended on July 12, 2002, the Sick-house countermeasure stipulation was added. Although Ai-Wall is not formaldehyde emitting construction material, we decided to obtain F☆☆☆☆(F Four Star) to prove compliance with the regulation.
